PhD position at MPI for Intelligent Systems (Tuebingen, Germany)
Location: Max Planck Institute, Tübingen, Germany
We have an opening for a PhD student to work on topics of machine learning applied to study and understand biological phenomena in eye growth and retinal image processing in a joint project with neurobiologists. More information can be found here.
We are looking for someone who is mathematically strong, possibly with prior exposure to neuroscience, and who would be interested in applying machine learning techniques to biological data.
Prior experience in machine learning would be nice, but is not crucial.
